  • 2 cloves Garlic Freshly minced for a fragrant kick.

Preparation

  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions until they float to the top. Drain and set aside.
  • In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until it starts to turn golden.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes, thickening slightly.
  • Gradually add in the grated Parmesan cheese, whisking until melted and smooth.
  • Toss the cooked tortellini into the Alfredo sauce, ensuring each piece is coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Plate the Tortellini Alfredo, garnishing with extra Parmesan and parsley.

Notes

For extra nutrition, add steamed broccoli or sautéed mushrooms. For a protein boost, add grilled chicken or shrimp. A splash of nutmeg or red pepper flakes can enhance the dish's flavor.
