  • 2 lbs Pork Ribs Baby back ribs for tenderness or spare ribs for a meaty option.
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar For dry rub.
  • 1 tbsp Paprika For dry rub.
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder For dry rub.
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder For dry rub.
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper For dry rub.
  • 1 tbsp Salt For dry rub.
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce Your favorite store-bought or homemade barbecue sauce.
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar Adds acidity.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil To help the dry rub stick.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the dry rub ingredients.
  • Generously coat the ribs with the rub, ensuring it’s well distributed.

Grilling

  • Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  • Place the ribs on the grill bone-side down and cover.
  • Cook for 1.5 hours, flipping occasionally.
  • After 1.5 hours, brush on a generous layer of BBQ sauce.
  • Cover and grill for an additional 30 minutes.

Serving

  • Remove from the grill and let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
