  • 1 cup Rolled Oats The base of your dish, they cook quickly.
  • 1 can Coconut Milk For a rich, velvety texture.
  • 1 cup Water Balances the creaminess of the coconut.
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup Natural sweetener.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract For added warm sweetness.
  • 1 pinch Salt Enhances overall flavor.

Optional Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Chia Seeds Optional, adds nutrition and texture.
  • Toppings of Choice Fresh fruits, nuts, shredded coconut, or cinnamon.

Preparation

  • In a medium saucepan, combine rolled oats, coconut milk, water, and a pinch of salt.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it starts boiling.
  • Reduce the heat and stir in maple syrup and vanilla extract.
  • If using chia seeds, sprinkle them in.
  • Allow to simmer for 5-7 minutes until desired consistency is reached.
  • Spoon into bowls and top with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Store any unused oats in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of water or coconut milk.
