Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until soft and creamy.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture, ensuring everything is well blended.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually incorporate this dry mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the softened cream cheese and chopped strawberries gently, being careful not to crush the berries.
  • Using a tablespoon, drop dollops of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
