  • 1/2 cup protein powder Choose your favorite flavor—vanilla or chocolate is recommended.
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey Natural sweeteners that add a lovely flavor. Stevia can be used for a lower-sugar option.
  • 1/4 cup nut butter Peanut, almond, or cashew for creaminess. Use sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the flavor.
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips Semi-sweet or dark chocolate options. Dark chocolate or cacao nibs are healthier alternatives.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour and protein powder.
  • Add in the maple syrup and nut butter. Mix well with a spatula or your hands.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and chocolate chips.
  • Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness with more maple syrup or honey if desired.
  • Scoop the dough into small balls and place them onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Enjoy immediately or chill in the fridge for 15 minutes for a firmer texture.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week. Can freeze for longer storage. This is a no-bake recipe, just enjoy it fresh from the fridge.
