Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 loaf Loaf of Bread (Italian or French) Sturdy bread gives the best pull-apart texture.
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Low-moisture mozzarella is recommended.
  • 1 cup Sliced Pepperoni Can substitute with sausage or veggies.
  • 1/2 cup Garlic Butter Combine melted butter with minced garlic.
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning A mix of dried herbs for flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Adds a nutty punch on top.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • Prepare the garlic butter by melting the butter in a small pan. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in Italian seasoning.
  • Slice the bread carefully into squares, ensuring not to cut all the way through the bottom.
  • Gently pull apart the sections of bread and stuff a mix of mozzarella, pepperoni, and sprinkle of Parmesan between each cut.
  • Drizzle the garlic butter generously over the top of the stuffed loaf, ensuring every inch is covered.

Baking

  • Tightly wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and place it in the oven for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the top is crisp and golden brown.

Serving

  • Let it cool slightly before serving. Pull apart each section and enjoy the hot, cheesy goodness.

Notes

For variations, serve with dipping sauces like marinara or ranch, or add fresh herbs to the garlic butter for extra flavor. You can also freeze the assembled bread before baking and thaw overnight in the fridge before baking.
