  • 1 tsp Garlic powder Adds depth of flavor.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning A blend of dried herbs.
  • 2 pieces Eggs, beaten Can substitute with a mixture of Greek yogurt and water for a lighter option.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Essential for enhancing flavors.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • In a shallow bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
  • Dip a chicken breast into the beaten eggs until fully coated, allowing any excess to drip off. Press the chicken into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it's fully covered. Repeat for each breast.

Baking

  • Place the coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until fully cooked and the crust is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Serving

  • Serve the chicken warm, and enjoy with loved ones!

Notes

For added flavor, consider infusing the crust with fresh herbs, zesty lemon, or a bit of spice. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or frozen for 3 months. Reheat by baking at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
