  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken thighs For juiciness, but boneless chicken breasts work too.
  • 1/4 cup honey Local honey adds a wonderful floral note.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Because garlic is life!
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Low-sodium is a great option.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Or your preferred cooking oil.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • Fresh parsley For garnish (optional).

Cooking

  • Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  • Add chicken thighs to the pan, cooking for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • While the chicken is cooking, whisk together honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, pour the honey garlic mixture over it and let it bubble for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to three months. Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat with a splash of water or chicken broth to maintain moisture.
