For the filling

  • 6 cups Fresh Peaches, sliced Use ripe, in-season peaches for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar For the peach filling; adjust based on peach ripeness.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon Can experiment with nutmeg.

For the batter

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour Can swap with almond flour for a gluten-free option.
  • 1 cup Milk Substitute with almond milk or coconut milk for dairy-free.
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted Use unsalted for better control over seasoning.
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder Helps the cobbler rise.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Enhances flavors and balances sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar For the batter.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches with 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and cinnamon. Let sit for about 10 minutes to release juices.

Assembling and Baking

  • Spread the batter evenly in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Pour the peach mixture over the batter (do not stir).
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden and bubbling.

Serving
