  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Smoked paprika adds a lovely depth
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme Fresh thyme is even better if you have it!
  • Salt and pepper To taste

Preparation

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a large bowl and pour the seasoning mixture over them, ensuring each piece is generously coated.
  • Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking dish, spreading them out evenly.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the edges turn golden brown.
  • Once out of the oven, let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes.
  • Slice the chicken, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen for up to two months. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed through.
