Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart as it browns.
  • Once fully cooked, drain excess grease, and add minced garlic and ginger; cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Add shredded cabbage, stirring well to coat, and cook until slightly wilted but still crunchy, about 4-5 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar substitute, salt, and pepper. Pour over the cabbage and beef, stir to combine, and let simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions and a drizzle of sesame oil. Serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to add other veggies like bell peppers or broccoli. To spice it up, consider adding red pepper flakes or sriracha. For a heartier meal, incorporate cooked low-carb noodles or zoodles.
