  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken Rotisserie chicken works great!
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Adds a rich creaminess.
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded A family favorite that melts beautifully.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, fresh or frozen Adds color and nutrition.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder A must for that aromatic punch.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder An essential flavor base.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing.
  • salt and pepper To taste.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add broccoli and sauté for about 5 minutes until tender.
  • In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  • Stir in the sautéed broccoli and half of the cheddar cheese.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and slightly golden.
  • Let it cool slightly, then serve and enjoy.

Notes

Feel free to add fresh herbs or stir in roasted red peppers for added flavor. This casserole can also be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or frozen for later use.
