Preparation

  • Wash the apples thoroughly, then core and slice them into even wedges about 1/4-inch thick.

Prepare Honey Mixture

  • In a medium bowl, combine the honey, melted butter, cinnamon, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Whisk the ingredients together.

Cook the Apples

  • Place a large non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the apple slices in a single layer.
  • Pour the honey mixture over the apples. Toss the slices gently to ensure they are evenly coated.
  • Cook the apples for about 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are tender but still hold some bite.

Serve

  • Remove from heat and serve warm, optionally garnished with extra cinnamon or whipped cream.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat on the stovetop over low heat or in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
