Preparation

  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to help them brown.
  • In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and black pepper.

Cooking

  • Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker and pour the honey-garlic mixture over them, ensuring each piece is coated.
  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  • Once cooked, you may shred the chicken with two forks or serve the thighs whole with sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze cooked chicken for up to 3 months. Sear chicken thighs for extra flavor before slow cooking.
