Instructions

Marinating the Chicken

  • In a bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and chopped herbs. Add the chicken breasts, ensuring they're well-coated in the marinade. Let them rest for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).

Grilling

  • Preheat the grill until hot for optimal grill marks and juicy chicken.
  • Place the marinated chicken on the grill and cook for 5–7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Just before removing from the grill, add lemon zest on top for extra zing.

Serving

  • Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes to lock in moisture and flavor.
  • Slice and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. To freeze, wrap each piece tightly in plastic wrap and place in a freezer-safe bag. Reheat on low heat to retain moisture and texture.
