  • 1 cup sour cream You can substitute with Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup mayonnaise Avocado mayo can offer a lighter twist.

Flavorings

  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese Feel free to experiment with Pecorino.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Add more if you're a garlic lover!
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Or 1 teaspoon dried parsley.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Optional Additions

  • to taste Red pepper flakes For some heat.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and mayonnaise. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Add in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until well incorporated.
  • Toss in the minced garlic, fresh parsley, salt, and pepper. If you're spice-inclined, add red pepper flakes as well.
  • Mix everything together until thoroughly blended.
  • Taste, adjust seasoning, and then cover with plastic wrap. Let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour.

Notes

Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to three days. Prepare a day in advance for best results. Stir before serving.
