Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (85/15) Can swap for ground turkey or plant-based crumbles.
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped Adds sweetness and depth.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Double up if you adore garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Use soy sauce for a gluten-free option.
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard Omit for a milder flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Pepper jack or mozzarella work if you want gooier pulls.
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (10 count) Pizza dough can be used for a crispier bite.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted For that rich garlic brush.
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese For topping.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley For fresh color and aroma.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment for easier cleanup.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of oil and sauté the chopped onion until translucent, about 4 minutes.
  • Add the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Dijon, salt, and pepper. Cook another minute to meld flavors, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Open the biscuit dough and flatten each round into a 3–4 inch circle.
  • Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center of each, top with shredded cheddar, then fold the edges up and pinch to seal tightly.

Baking

  • Arrange the bombs seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  • Brush each with melted butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan and parsley.
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes, until golden brown and the cheese inside is bubbling.
  • Let rest for 2–3 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Add diced pickles or a teaspoon of ketchup into each filling for that classic cheeseburger tang. For a festive meal, top with sesame seeds before baking.
