  • 8 oz Pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine) Your choice of pasta.
  • 4 tbsp Butter Use unsalted for better control over seasoning.
  • 5-6 cloves Fresh Garlic The star of the dish; minced.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated to enhance creaminess.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Chopped for garnishing.

Instructions
 

Cooking Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.

Sauté Garlic

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant and golden. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Combine Ingredients

  • Once the garlic is golden, add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter.

Add Pasta Water

  • Gradually add the reserved pasta water until the sauce reaches your desired consistency, stirring to combine.

Finish with Cheese

  • Stir in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to taste, mixing until everything is evenly coated and creamy.

Garnish and Serve

  • Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For deeper flavor, consider pairing with roasted garlic. Add veggies like spinach or broccoli for a healthier twist, or include protein like grilled chicken or shrimp for a filling meal. A pinch of red pepper flakes can add some spice.
