  • 1 cup all-purpose flour For tender crumb; use 3/4 cup almond flour plus 1/4 cup oat flour for a grain-free approach.
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder The heart of fudgy brownies; Dutch-processed gives a deeper color.

Decoration

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, letting the ends overhang for easy removal.
  • In a large bowl, whisk the melted butter and sugar until glossy. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking until smooth, then stir in vanilla.
  • Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold gently until just combined — do not overmix.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Spread the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Bake for 22–28 minutes. A toothpick inserted should come out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Cool completely in the pan, then lift out using the parchment overhang.

Decoration

  • Pipe white frosting into football laces and oval outlines for decoration.
