Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, toss the sliced peaches with 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of flour. Allow them to sit for about 10 minutes.

Mixing the Batter

  • In another bowl, whisk together the remaining flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Stir in the milk and melted butter until just combined—lumps are okay.

Combining Ingredients

  • Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 baking dish without stirring.
  • Place the peach mixture on top of the batter, allowing the juices to mix naturally.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.

Serving

  • Let the cobbler cool for a few minutes before serving warm with vanilla ice cream.

Notes
