Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, melt the butter and let it cool slightly. Stir in the granulated sugar until well combined.
  • Add the eggs, one by one, mixing well after each addition. Then fold in the lemon zest, juice, and vanilla extract.

Notes
