Ingredients
  

For the Chocolate Filling

  • 200 g dark chocolate You can use semi-sweet chocolate for a different flavor profile.
  • 100 ml heavy cream Substitute with coconut cream for a dairy-free option.
  • 50 g pistachios Shelled and crushed; these crunchy nuts are the star of the filling.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Opt for pure extract for the best taste.
  • 1 pinch salt To balance the sweetness.

Preparation

  • In a heat-proof bowl, combine the dark chocolate and heavy cream. Melt over a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
  • Once melted, add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to the chocolate mixture. Stir until fully incorporated.
  • Take half of your crushed pistachios and mix them into the melted chocolate mixture.
  • Pour half of the chocolate mixture into molds, then create a small indent in the center of each. Fill the indent with the remaining crushed pistachios, followed by the rest of the chocolate mixture on top.
  • Refrigerate the molds for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  • Once set, carefully remove the chocolates from the molds.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different nuts and spices for a unique flavor profile. Serve with coffee or as a dessert for special occasions.
