  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce Good-quality sauce packs flavor; can substitute with homemade.
  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese Adds richness; can substitute with cottage cheese.
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese For melty goodness.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese For a nutty finish; can substitute with nutritional yeast.
  • 2 cups Spinach or Zucchini Adds greens and nutrition.
  • 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning For classic Italian flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of the crockpot to prevent sticking.
  • Place a layer of frozen cheese ravioli on top of the sauce.
  • Spoon dollops of ricotta cheese over the ravioli.
  • Top with fresh spinach or sliced zucchini for a nutritious boost.
  • Continue layering marinara, ravioli, ricotta, and greens until you reach the top of the pot.
  • Finish with a generous layer of marinara sauce.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese all over the top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours, until everything is bubbly and cheese is melted.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can also freeze portions for a later meal. Reheat individual servings in the microwave or in a low oven until heated through.
