Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until evenly mixed.
  • Drizzle olive oil or melted butter over the breadcrumb mixture and mix to ensure even coverage.
  • Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel for better coating adherence.
  • Dredge each pork chop in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat evenly.
  • Place the coated pork chops on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space between each chop for even cooking.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown and an internal thermometer reads 145°F (63°C).
  • Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving for maximum juiciness.

Notes

For a spicy twist, consider adding cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture. Fresh or dried herbs such as thyme or oregano can elevate the flavor.
