Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a shallow dish, combine the Panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  • In another bowl, whisk the egg until frothy.
  • Dip each chicken tenderloin into the egg wash, allowing excess to drip off. Roll it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere. Place coated tenders on a plate.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the tenders in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Cook the chicken tenders in the preheated air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Once cooked, allow them to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, double-dip the chicken in the egg wash and breadcrumbs. Consider adding cayenne or paprika for some spice. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
