Ingredients

Burger Patties

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef (80/20 blend for optimal juiciness)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning (for a savory kick)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or your choice for that gooey goodness)

Buns and Toppings

  • 4 pieces hamburger buns (preferably brioche for a touch of sweetness)
  • 0.5 cup crispy bacon bits (addictive crunch!)
  • 1 cup favorite burger toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc.)
  • to taste condiments (ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard) Optional

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef and ranch seasoning to create a flavorful base.
  • Shape the mixture into four equal patties. Make an indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.
  • Heat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat until hot, which should take about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
  • Flip the patties, add the cheese, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  • In the last few minutes of cooking, place the buns on the grill, cut side down, and toast until golden brown.

Notes

Store leftover burgers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, wrap tightly in foil and freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven to restore crispiness.
