  • 1/2 cup Sour cream or Greek yogurt Adds creaminess and tang.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped Brightens the wrap.
  • 1 teaspoon Lime or lemon juice Lifts the flavors.
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground paprika or smoked paprika For warmth.
  • 6 large Tortillas Flour or whole-wheat; gluten-free wraps work too.
  • Optional: baby spinach, bell pepper, or avocado slices for added texture and nutrition

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat the chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Slice into thin strips.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips and cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
  • In the same skillet, add a touch more oil if needed and sauté onion until translucent, about 3 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook 30–45 seconds until fragrant.
  • Lower heat and return chicken to skillet. Stir in sour cream (or Greek yogurt), shredded cheese, and chopped herbs until the cheese is melted.

Assembly and Serving

  • Heat tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 15 seconds to make pliable.
  • Spoon a generous portion of the cheesy garlic chicken onto each tortilla and add optional veggies. Fold or roll tightly.
  • Optional: place assembled wraps back in the skillet seam-side down for 1–2 minutes to crisp slightly. Slice in half and serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter version, swap sour cream for Greek yogurt and use low-fat cheese. Make it smoky: add chipotle in adobo or smoked paprika. For a vegetarian option, replace chicken with seasoned, baked tofu or roasted chickpeas.
