Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken, shredded or diced Rotisserie chicken works well. Substitute with cooked turkey or chickpeas for a vegetarian twist.
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Adds richness and creaminess. Use low-fat for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar or Mozzarella) Consider a dairy-free alternative if needed.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Freshly minced for the best flavor.
  • 4 large Tortillas Flour or whole wheat wraps hold everything together. Use corn for gluten-free.
  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach Adds crunch. Substitute with kale or arugula.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant (around 1-2 minutes) — be careful not to let it burn.
  • In a bowl, combine your cooked chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, sautéed garlic, fresh spinach, salt, and pepper until evenly mixed.
  • Lightly warm the tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
  • Spoon a generous portion of the cheesy mixture onto each tortilla. Fold in the sides and roll it up tightly.
  • Place your wraps seam-side down in the skillet and cook until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Slice the wraps in half and plate them up. Enjoy!

Notes

For a kick, add diced jalapeños. Incorporate chopped bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor. Try grilling instead of pan-frying for a smoky flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days or freeze ungrilled wraps for up to three months.
