Preparation

  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  • Stir in the shredded chicken and fresh spinach, cooking until the spinach wilts, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Lower the heat and sprinkle in the shredded cheese, stirring until it’s melted and evenly combined.
  • Lay out your tortillas on a flat surface and spoon generous portions of the cheesy chicken mixture onto each tortilla.
  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it snugly from the bottom up.
  • In the same skillet, place the wraps seam-side down and toast on medium heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Slice the wraps in half and serve immediately, perhaps with a side of marinara for dipping.

Notes

For best texture, allow the filling to cool slightly before wrapping. Fresh tortillas enhance the overall texture. Experiment with cheese blends for exciting flavors.
