Liquid Ingredients

  • 2 cups Beef Broth Low-sodium is a great option.
  • 1 cup Milk Unsweetened almond or oat milk works well too.

Seasonings

Preparation

  • In a large pot, boil water and cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Pour in the beef broth, add mustard, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir well and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes to meld those incredible flavors.
  • Reduce the heat and add the milk slowly, stirring continuously. Then, fold in the shredded cheese until it melts into a decadent, creamy sauce.
  • Finally, add the drained macaroni to the cheese mixture. Stir until every piece is coated in the luscious sauce.
  • Garnish with extra cheese or herbs if desired, and scoop generous portions into bowls.

Notes

Add steamed broccoli or spinach for a wholesome twist. For spiciness, sprinkle in red pepper flakes or diced jalapeƱos.
