Preparation

  • Gather your ingredients and assemble all the components on your kitchen counter.
  • In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of black tea with 2 tablespoons of cinnamon, 1 tablespoon of ground ginger, 1 tablespoon of ground cardamom, ½ tablespoon of cloves, and a pinch of nutmeg.
  • Use a whisk to blend everything thoroughly.
  • Transfer the blend to an airtight jar for future use.

Serving Instructions

  • Mix 2 tablespoons of the chai blend with 1 cup of hot milk or your favorite dairy alternative and sweeten to taste.

Notes

This mix keeps fresh for up to six months. For a caffeine-free option, use rooibos tea instead of black tea.
