  • 8 oz Pasta (spaghetti or penne) Any variety you love
  • 8 oz Burrata Cheese Creamy cheese that makes the dish indulgent
  • 2 cloves Garlic Fresh or powdered for flavor
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes Halved for cooking
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil For sautéing; use a flavored blend if desired
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil For garnish and flavor
  • to taste Salt Enhance the overall flavor
  • to taste Black Pepper Enhance the overall flavor

Instructions
 

Cooking Pasta

  • Boil a pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.

Preparing Sauce

  • While the pasta cooks, heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant but not browned.
  • Toss in halved cherry tomatoes and cook until blistered and soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Drain the cooked pasta, reserving a cup of the pasta water.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add the pasta directly into the skillet with the tomatoes and mix well.
  • Add the burrata, allowing it to melt and coat the pasta.
  • If the pasta looks dry, mix in reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, then finish with fresh basil.

Notes

Consider adding seasonal vegetables like spinach or zucchini for extra nutrition. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
