Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Lobster Tails Look for fresh or frozen tails; medium to large is ideal for a filling meal.
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter For richness; you can also substitute with olive oil for a healthier option.
  • 2 cloves Fresh Garlic Minced for a fragrant kick.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Adds mild heat and color; can be swapped with cayenne for extra spice.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed for zesty brightness; bottled lemon juice works in a pinch.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley Chopped for garnish; feel free to omit if you’re in a hurry.
  • Salt to taste Salt To balance flavors.
  • Pepper to taste Pepper To balance flavors.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your broiler to high.
  • Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top shell of the lobster tails down the middle. Pull the meat out, keeping it attached at the base, and place it on top of the shell.
  • In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in minced garlic, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Brush the lobster meat generously with the butter mixture.
  • Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for 5–7 minutes, watching closely until the meat is opaque and slightly browned.

Serving

  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately with extra melted butter on the side for dipping.

Notes

Try adding fresh thyme or rosemary to the butter for a different flavor profile. You can also add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top for a cheesy crust. For a smoky flavor, grill the lobster instead of broiling.
