Ingredients

For the Lobster Tails

  • 4 pieces lobster tails (6–8 ounces each) split top shell, meat exposed for even broiling.
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter for a rich, golden baste.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced adds warm aromatic depth.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice brightens and balances the butter.
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika gives gentle color and smoky warmth.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped for a fresh, herbaceous finish.
  • Pinch of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  • Lemon wedges for serving.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your broiler and position a rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
  • Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
  • Using kitchen shears, cut down the center of the top shell of each lobster tail and gently pry the shell open to lift the meat slightly, laying it on top of the shell.

Cooking

  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Stir in lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush each lobster tail generously with the garlic-butter mixture, reserving a tablespoon for finishing.
  • Place the lobster tails on the prepared baking sheet and broil until the meat is opaque and the tops are lightly browned, 8–12 minutes depending on size.
  • Remove from oven, brush with the reserved butter, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

Consider serving with melted butter on the side for dipping or adding herbs and spices to personalize the dish. Great for festive meals and special occasions.
