Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin (or any tender cut)
  • 12-15 slices bacon For a healthier twist, use turkey bacon.
  • 3/4 cup barbecue sauce Homemade or store-bought; use low-sugar for healthier alternative.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cut the beef sirloin into bite-sized cubes, approximately 1 inch each. Season the cubes generously with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Take a slice of bacon and cut it in half. Wrap one piece of beef tightly in bacon, securing it with a toothpick. Repeat for all beef cubes.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the bacon-wrapped beef bites on the sheet.
  • Brush the bacon-wrapped bites generously with barbecue sauce.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.

Serving

  • Let the bites rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm.

Notes

For healthier options, use leaner cuts of meat or vegetarian alternatives. Do not overcook the beef and allow the bites to rest before serving.
