  • 2 lbs Potatoes (baby Yukon Gold or red) For a creamy texture; russet potatoes can be a substitute.
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Can substitute with avocado oil for different flavor.
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh is best; garlic powder can be used if needed.
  • 1 tsp Rosemary, fresh chopped (or ½ tsp dried) Thyme or oregano can be used as substitutes.
  • to taste Salt Enhances the flavor of the dish.
  • to taste Pepper, freshly cracked Adds a kick to the dish.

Preparation

  • Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly. Cut them into halves or quarters, ensuring they're about the same size for even cooking.
  • In a large bowl, combine the potatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and rosemary. Toss until every potato piece is well-coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer for even cooking.
  • Air fry the potatoes for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Check for doneness; they are ready when golden brown and crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add chili flakes or cayenne pepper. Add grated Parmesan cheese in the last 5 minutes of cooking for extra flavor. Feel free to experiment with different herbs.
