Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
  • In one bowl, beat the eggs. In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Coating and Cooking

  • Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, ensuring full coverage.
  • Transfer to the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  • Lightly spray both sides of the breaded chicken with olive oil.
  • Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping.
  • Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

Use whole wheat breadcrumbs for added fiber or nutritional yeast for a vegan option. Consider adding smoked paprika or Italian seasoning for extra flavor. You may stuff with spinach and cheese before breading for a variation.
