Preparation

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Flip the chicken over and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the edges turn golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Serving

  • Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle lemon zest before serving. You can also experiment with different spices or marinades.
