Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, frozen hashbrowns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and half of the cheese. Mix well, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and smooth the top.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the casserole.

Baking

  • Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
